T.J. Ward criticized Madison Beer’s clothing and reaction when cameras showed her at a Chargers game, while questioning whether her relationship distracts Justin Herbert. He cited Herbert’s early-season struggles as the Chargers sit at 0-2.
Ward questioned whether Herbert had improved since he and Beer got together and whether offseason discussion of the quarterback focused more on her than football. He had earlier claimed Beer was “using” Herbert and suggested she might leave if his success faded.
Through two games, Herbert completed 32 of 54 passes for 401 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions, and was sacked six times. PFN’s QB Impact Score ranked him 31st among 33 eligible quarterbacks at 65.2. The Chargers lost 26-14 to Arizona and Las Vegas and are set to visit Buffalo in Week 3.
