Michael Penix threw for 256 yards and a touchdown in his season debut as Atlanta beat Green Bay for its first win of the season. The Falcons scored touchdowns on three of four red-zone trips after failing to reach the area in their first two games.
Atlanta’s offense finished with 500 yards and four touchdowns, with Bijan Robinson and Brian Robinson driving the ground game. Bijan became the 10th player in NFL history to reach 6,000 scrimmage yards before age 25.
On defense, C.J. Henderson broke up multiple passes, while Zach Harrison disrupted the Packers on run and pass plays and blocked a field goal. The recap said play-caller Rees’ choices still left opportunities unused, though his playcalling improved as the game went on.
