The Indiana Fever lost 86-66 to the Minnesota Lynx in their regular-season finale and finished as the No. 6 playoff seed. Tyasha Harris was ruled out with a left ankle injury in the third quarter, after Aliyah Boston exited with a right lower-leg injury.
A win would have lifted Indiana to No. 5 and sent the Fever to Atlanta to play the Dream. Minnesota had secured the No. 1 overall seed on Tuesday, and both teams had clinched playoff spots last month.
After the game, coach Stephanie White said Boston had a flare-up of the lower-leg injury she had earlier in the season and that she had no update on Harris. The Fever scored a season-low 66 points; Caitlin Clark scored two on 1-for-12 shooting.
