Six homes in Altadena’s La Viña neighborhood have been rebuilt after the Eaton Fire; a Sept. 21 ceremony marked their completion. KNX News reported about 1,700 Altadena homes were in the rebuilding process, but only 33 were fully rebuilt.
The Eaton Fire destroyed 52 homes in La Viña. The six homeowners chose turnkey designs tailored to their lots; Brookfield Residential said coordinating the projects moved them through planning, permitting and construction faster than separate rebuilds.
On March 17, Brookfield said excavation and other early work had begun on all six properties, with families expected back by fall 2026.
