Residents described the September strikes as part of an apparent new campaign, after several weeks when RSF attacks appeared to ease under international pressure. The RSF did not respond to Reuters’ request for comment and has said it does not intentionally target civilians. The UN says drone attacks by both the RSF and Sudanese army killed more than 1,000 civilians in the first half of this year.
