Ryanair's FR7073 resumes Dublin trip after Porto return over false report

Ryanair flight FR7073 returned to Porto shortly after taking off for Dublin on 22 September following a false security report, the airline said. The issue was quickly resolved, and the flight continued to Dublin after a two-hour, 33-minute delay.

Aviation news network Air Live reported that the captain transmitted squawk code 7500, which signals a hijack attempt or unlawful intrusion into the flight deck. Ryanair did not specify what prompted the code.
