Bobbie Stefankiewicz, 49, was killed Wednesday afternoon when her Mini Cooper veered across the center line on Route 9 in Upper Township, police said. A passenger in the northbound vehicle was seriously injured; its driver suffered moderate injuries.
State Police said Stefankiewicz was southbound at 2:35 p.m. in the Marmora section when her car veered across the center line while rounding a curve and struck the northbound vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene near milepost 28.6; the crash remains under investigation.
