Former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel criticized the Aggies in two social media posts after their 35-6 loss to LSU on Saturday, telling the team to “do some soul searching.” The defeat left A&M with a 2-2 record.
LSU led 14-3 at halftime, and Texas A&M finished without a touchdown. Quarterback Marcel Reed threw for 106 passing yards and an interception. The Aggies had lost 31-21 to Kentucky the previous week.
Last week, Manziel also reposted a post saying Reed was being pressed to “be something he’s not” and was not a “surgical pocket passer.” Texas A&M still has matchups against Missouri, Alabama and Tennessee on its schedule.
