Buffalo’s six Week 3 inactives against the Chargers are Skyler Bell, Ar’Maj Reed-Adams, Jude Bowry, T.J. Sanders, Mike Danna and Jalen Kilgore. Ed Oliver returns after missing last week with a hip injury. The Chargers’ list includes DJ Uiagalelei, their emergency third-quarter.
Bell was a healthy scratch after DJ Moore and Keon Coleman, who had shoulder and ankle issues, respectively, were active. Sanders missed the first two games with a knee injury and sat out after an appendectomy last week. Reed-Adams had an elbow issue; Bowry and Danna were healthy scratches. Buffalo elevated Te’Cory Couch from the practice squad, choosing his slot coverage over Kilgore’s big-nickel/safety role.
The other Chargers listed as inactive were cornerback Elijah Molden, guards Harkey and Kayode Awosika, tight end Charlie Kolar, receiver Brennan Thompson and defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson. Los Angeles had also ruled out offensive lineman Trey Pipkins III, but placed him on injured reserve the day before the game, so he was not on the game-day list.
