Hayden Panettiere was remembered at a celebration of life in Malibu on Sept. 19, just over a month after her death. A source says her estranged mother, Lesley Vogel, was invited but could not attend; her father and several costars were there.
A source said attendees included Panettiere’s father, Alan “Skip” Panettiere, Ruby Rose and Nashville costars Connie Britton and Charles Esten. Britton and Evan Ross spoke, while Isabella D’Amore sang. Guests received hats with Panettiere’s initials, and her photo appeared on a screen with dolphins swimming behind her, a nod to her interest in marine conservation.
On Sept. 22, the Greenville County Coroner’s Office said Panettiere died from the toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol and quetiapine. Her death was ruled an accident.
