Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson says a baseball to the face broke his jaw three years ago, and X-rays later showed his teeth were at risk of dying despite surgery. A cosmetic dentist recommended veneers after the impact shifted his teeth and left gaps.
Olson said he had jaw surgery the day after the injury and was back on the field three weeks later wearing a cage on his helmet. He explained the veneers in a Sept. 21 TikTok after questions about his smile following his Dancing with the Stars debut.
