YouTube renewed its exclusive Coachella livestream deal with promoter Goldenvoice through 2030 after the 2026 festival set a record for concurrent viewers on the platform, the company said. The April 2027 edition will mark 15 years of the festival on YouTube.

Coachella’s livestream has grown from a single feed to live coverage of every stage across both festival weekends, serving fans who cannot make it to the desert.

YouTube said more than 600 million logged-in viewers watched live content on its platform per day on average in August. New tools announced at the event include co-hosting, which lets two creators appear on one stream, and live auto-dubbing that translates speech in real time. Several updates are slated to roll out in early 2027.
