Shaheen Jafargholi will play indie musician Fabian Salah in “Heated Rivalry” Season 2, filming in Canada; Daniel Diemer will play athlete Ryan Price, Fabian’s love interest. Jafargholi said the story being told excites him; he is “honored” to join.
Season 1 adapted Rachel Reid’s second Game Changers novel, “Heated Rivalry,” centering on rival hockey players Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie). Fabian and Ryan are the leads of Reid’s novel “Tough Guy.”
