After 30 years on courtroom TV, Judith Sheindlin says she begins by assuming people’s accounts are usually untrue and checks whether details make sense. She told W Magazine that liars often avoid eye contact and claimed men and women show different physical signs.
She said women who lie show redness in the chest; men, she claimed, develop sweat along the upper lip and begin twitching.
On Sept. 16, Sheindlin confirmed she will retire from on-camera work after Judy Justice ends in October, though she said she will remain creative. She also said her son Adam Levy is ready to follow her; he stars in Adam’s Law, a syndicated court show she produces.
