Arizona beat Colorado 12-8 to complete a three-game sweep at Coors Field, its first there since 2018, and extend its winning streak to five. The Diamondbacks head to San Diego Friday to face the Padres and try to keep their season alive.
The Diamondbacks scored six runs in the first inning, including a three-run homer by Gabi Moreno and a two-run homer by Nolan Arenado. Eduardo Rodriguez allowed two earned runs over six innings, earned his 16th win and finished the regular season with a 2.89 ERA.
Colorado scored four runs in the seventh and two in the eighth, but Kevin Ginkel recorded three strikeouts in the ninth. Arizona also kept Garcia, JMart, Morillo and Loaisiga available for the Padres series.
