Raphinha’s switch to Barcelona’s No. 9 role surprised Rodri

Rodri says Raphinha has been the player who surprised him most at Barcelona: the Brazilian initially told him he disliked playing as a No. 9 but is now delighted in the role, with 14 goals in all competitions.

Raphinha changed position this summer after Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres left Barcelona. Rodri told Cope that Pedri and Raphinha deserved to be included on the Ballon d’Or shortlist; Raphinha was not selected.
