Workiva unveiled Agent Studio on Sept. 15, a no-code tool for customers to build and schedule AI agents for regulatory surveys and reporting. The agents will be in advanced solution tiers; uptake and potential revenue are undisclosed.
The launch also included agentic solutions for BEA and U.S. Census surveys and Country-by-Country Reporting, plus an internal-audit and risk testing tool that uses agents for sample selection and documentation. CEO Julie Iskow said users can trace where an answer came from and defend it to investors and regulators.
Workiva reported second-quarter revenue of $255 million, up 19% year over year; its non-GAAP operating margin was 16.8%, versus 3.8% a year earlier, while its GAAP operating margin was 4.6%. Cash and marketable securities were $815 million on June 30, down from $892 million at 2025 year-end. The company spent $123 million on second-quarter buybacks and had $702 million in convertible notes due in 2028 and a $71 million tranche due in 2026.
