Raspberry AI connects fashion teams across the product pipeline

Forbes

Raspberry AI expanded its platform to link fashion design, merchandising, wholesale, marketing and e-commerce. CEO Cheryl Liu says teams can preview products and produce campaign images in minutes, while design judgment and physical fitting remain essential.

Raspberry says Oscar de la Renta, Rag & Bone, Steve Madden, Fabletics, Columbia, Beyond Yoga, Lilly Pulitzer and Kate Spade use its platform. Liu says sampling one product 50 times is costly; with Raspberry, she says brands should need no more than three or four physical samples.

Liu says she has not seen any of Raspberry’s 460 customers reduce staff because of the product; she describes its aim as replacing physical steps in product creation, not workers. The faster process could reduce sampling waste and unsold products, but it could also enable brands to put more goods on the market. Raspberry raised a $24 million Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, and Liu sees potential uses in furniture, home goods, luggage and beauty.
