USDA recalled 167,639 pounds of A&D Foods raw pork, beef and goat products because they lacked proper federal inspection. Sold in vacuum packs to restaurants and retailers, the meats should be discarded or returned. No illnesses or injuries have been confirmed.
Recalled products include goat cuts, ribeye, beef oxtail and short ribs, plus ground pork, chorizo, pork chops, feet and Boston cuts. The packages bore a false inspection mark, “EST. 1363”; that establishment number does not have a federal grant of inspection.
