UCLA routs Maryland 54-3 after five Terps turnovers

Maryland lost 54-3 to UCLA on Saturday after turning the ball over five times, including four interceptions by quarterback Malik Washington. UCLA running back Wayne Knight recorded 135 yards from scrimmage, while Maryland managed just 39 rushing yards.

Maryland converted just one of 15 third downs, and only three of its nine running backs were active. The defeat left the Terps 2-2 in 2026, tied for their worst start in Mike Locksley’s tenure.
