New England elevated safety Mike Brown and defensive tackle Jeremiah Pharms Jr. from its practice squad for Sunday's Week 3 game at Jacksonville, set for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff. Both are scheduled to revert to the practice squad after the road trip.
Brown has appeared in 35 games since entering the NFL as an undrafted rookie in 2022 and started five games for Tennessee in 2023. Pharms has played 31 games for New England, recording 45 tackles, two sacks and one fumble recovery.
The Patriots placed guard Mike Onwenu, outside linebacker Quintayvious Hutchins and safety Dell Pettus on injured reserve. Edge rusher Dre'Mont Jones was ruled out, while tight end Eli Raridon and safety Craig Woodson traveled with questionable statuses.
