The U.S. will enter Sunday’s Presidents Cup trailing the Internationals 10.5-7.5 after failing to narrow the gap on Saturday. It is the first time the International team has led going into Sunday on U.S. soil; 12 points remain available.
All four Golf.com writers featured predicted an International victory. Josh Berhow called for an upset; Josh Sens forecast the team would reach the 15.5 points needed to win, with Nick Taylor and Si Woo Kim key; Dylan Dethier predicted a six-point margin, while Josh Schrock picked a three-point win.
Berhow said the U.S. may still have the stronger singles depth, but argued the International lead could provide a confidence boost. He noted that the U.S. entered singles with an 11-7 lead in each of the last two Presidents Cups.
