Devon Levi finishes Oilers preseason and leaves next move to Edmonton

Devon Levi finished his Edmonton Oilers preseason and is leaving the roster decision to the team, saying he is focused on his game. He feels more mature and ready after working with goalie coach Pete Aubry on staying in his net longer and trusting his reads.

Levi said he is getting used to Edmonton’s system and described the defense as solid in games the team played well. Coach Mike Babcock said both goalies performed well, but Edmonton gave up too much in Levi’s final appearance and he had to make big saves.
