The United Kingdom led the International Emmy nominations announced Wednesday, earning 14 of 64 nods; Brazil followed with nine and Spain with five. The nominees span 16 categories and 22 countries, and winners will be announced at a Nov. 23 gala in New York.
Bell Media/Crave’s “Heated Rivalry” was submitted, a Bell Media representative confirmed, but did not make the nominee list. As a Canadian commission with no U.S. production partners, it was ineligible for Primetime Emmy consideration but eligible for the International Emmys.
