A Sept. 13 crash between a pickup and an Amish buggy in Canton, N.Y., killed two people and injured 10 others. Two of the injured remain hospitalized: a 5-year-old girl is stable and a 35-year-old woman is in critical condition, the sheriff's office said.
The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office said 34-year-old Joshua Camacho was driving the pickup when it struck the buggy from behind near the Little River Road intersection at about 2:59 p.m. local time. Local reports identified those killed as Margaret Wagler, 78, and a 4-year-old boy, both from Canton.
Officials have not disclosed further details about the injuries, and the investigation remains ongoing.
