Texas coach Steve Sarkisian says Trump’s planned Saturday attendance at the No. 1 Texas–No. 14 Tennessee game could briefly cut coach-to-player headsets as he enters, leaves or moves around Neyland Stadium. Fans are urged to arrive early for enhanced security screening.
Sarkisian said teams would receive no warning before the brief cuts to coach headsets and coach-to-player communication, so they need a plan. Teams can use hand signals when headset communication is lost; Texas has made no changes to its stadium-arrival logistics or schedule.
Stadium officials said Secret Service Police will conduct enhanced screening at every gate and urged ticket holders to arrive significantly earlier than for a typical game. They warned of longer waits as kickoff approaches.
