Michigan lost 20-19 to No. 17 Iowa after the Hawkeyes scored a game-winning touchdown with two seconds left. The Wolverines committed eight penalties for 75 yards; a late flag on cornerback Zeke Berry kept Iowa's offense on the field.
Quarterback Bryce Underwood completed 17 of 28 passes for 276 yards, two touchdowns and an interception; JJ Buchanan had 130 receiving yards and Andrew Marsh 106. Michigan scored on only two of four red-zone trips and allowed a kickoff-return touchdown. Iowa managed 58 rushing yards at 2.4 yards per carry, while safety Chris Bracy had two tackles and a pass breakup.
Michigan is set to play at Minnesota next weekend.
