A preview of TCU’s visit to UCF spotlights five draft prospects from each team for the 2027 NFL Draft. TCU receiver Jordan Dwyer, sidelined by injury through the start of the season, is expected to make his 2026 debut against UCF and give quarterback Jaden Craig a proven target.
Craig is presented as a possible late-round developmental quarterback, while left tackle Ben Taylor-Whitfield is viewed as a day-three prospect who could play tackle or guard. Dwyer had 54 catches for 730 yards and seven touchdowns last season. Defensive tackle Markis Deal and edge Paul Owewale are also day-three possibilities; Deal could be a rotational nose tackle, while Owewale’s strength is run defense. The Week 4 game in Orlando is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET.
UCF’s five prospects are cornerback Jayden Bellamy, defensive tackles Horace Lockett and R.J. Jackson Jr., tight end Dylan Wade and linebacker Tackett Curtis. Lockett, limited by injury last year, is a day-three nose tackle prospect; Bellamy and Wade are also day-three options. Jackson is considered a late day-three or undrafted prospect, while Curtis could be an undrafted free-agent signing.
