Josh Heupel's College GameDay crossbar hit means $100,000 for charity

Tennessee coach Josh Heupel hit the crossbar from 25 yards in a $100,000 charity challenge on College GameDay, securing a donation to charity. He threw from the 15-yard line at Neyland Stadium ahead of the No. 1 Texas–No. 14 Tennessee game.

Tennessee was 2–16 against AP No. 1 teams; a win over Texas would be its first against a top-ranked team since 1985. The game was scheduled to start at noon ET on ABC, with Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit calling it.
