Seven Hawaiian Airlines flight attendants were evaluated after reports of nausea and headaches following an unknown odor aboard Hawaiian-operated Alaska Airlines Flight 803 from Los Angeles to Honolulu on Sept. 24. They declined ER transport; the cause is unclear.
Hawaiian Airlines said its Airbus A330 arrived without incident with 252 passengers and nine crew members, and no passengers needed medical attention. The airline said it would inspect the aircraft to determine the odor’s cause before returning it to service.
