Titans coach Robert Saleh said the 49ers were about to draft Giants running back Cam Skattebo in the 2025 NFL Draft, but New York took him 105th overall, eight picks before San Francisco's No. 113 selection. Saleh said Kyle Shanahan liked him.
Skattebo has 30 carries for 117 yards and a touchdown this season, plus four catches for 19 yards, all in Week 2 against the Rams. The Giants head into their Week 3 game against Tennessee with quarterback Jaxson Dart out and Jameis Winston taking over.
