On the season 5 premiere of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, Ruby Rose said stunts on Batwoman in 2019 left her with two herniated discs near her spinal cord. She said she broke her neck twice and has two replacement discs, affecting her ability to do stunts.
After failing the premiere’s challenge involving a backward fall from a helicopter into water, Rose explained her condition. Later, she struggled to hold a sandbag during a night obstacle course and said believing she was slowing the group would affect her confidence. She also said she felt four years of her life were gone.
In June, Rose had also shared a video of herself falling into her pool at home and said she broke two ribs and went to hospital.
