The Jaguars are reportedly taking a patient approach to Travis Hunter’s bid to play cornerback and wide receiver. He has played nine NFL games, including two this season, after an LCL injury sidelined him for most of 2025.
This season, Hunter has played 58% of Jacksonville’s defensive snaps and 9% of its offensive snaps, compared with 36% defensively and 67% offensively before his season-ending injury in 2025.
A source cited by The Athletic’s Jonathan Jones said Hunter would help the team win this season and continue to develop on both sides of the ball.
