Red Sift has launched a free self-service tool to help brands pursue certificates for displaying logos beside emails through BIMI. The company says 87% of firms that start deployment do not finish, often because of logo, trademark or certificate hurdles.
The BIMI Maker lets users preview a logo, check their DMARC status and apply for a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) or Common Mark Certificate (CMC). Red Sift says it packages the logo and supporting evidence for certificate-authority review, then guides users through payment and DNS setup. The company says the tool eliminates the need for trademark registration, logo-design work and engineering.
Red Sift reports that 50,000 domains publish BIMI records, but only about 6,500 have the certificate needed for logos to display consistently in inboxes.
