In Week 4, Oregon beat USC 41-27 behind Dylan Raiola’s 289 yards and two TDs; Texas beat Tennessee 20-17, Florida routed Ole Miss 52-28, Iowa edged Michigan 20-19, LSU beat Texas A&M 35-6 and Mississippi State defeated Missouri 31-24 in six Top 25 matchups.
Raiola threw the go-ahead touchdown to Dakorien Moore with 8:35 left. USC linebacker Desman Stephens II was ejected after a hit knocked Oregon quarterback Dante Moore out of the game. Iowa’s winning drive ended with Hank Brown’s walk-off TD pass to Reece Vander Zee after a personal foul on Zeke Berry erased a fourth-and-12 stop. Texas edge rusher Colin Simmons set a school record with five sacks; the Longhorns had 11 penalties for 115 yards.
LSU’s Sam Leavitt, playing through injuries, threw for 312 yards and added 22 rushing yards. Mississippi State moved to 4-0 as Kamario Taylor threw for 360 yards and three TDs, including a 24-yard go-ahead pass with 3:57 left. Florida also reached 4-0, rushing for 302 yards; Jadan Baugh had 142 yards and three touchdowns.
