On the Dish podcast, Great British Baking Show hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding described new judge Nigella Lawson reading in a shepherd’s hut on a chaise lounge; Fielding joked she sometimes summons passersby, who kneel beside her because there’s nowhere to sit.
Fielding said Lawson and fellow judge Paul Hollywood sometimes disagree, calling those moments “sparky.” He said Lawson prefers savory dishes while Hollywood has a bigger sweet tooth, but they resolve their differences. Hammond said Lawson brought cheeses, breads and salted granola for the crew.
The Great British Baking Show’s 14th collection premieres for U.S. audiences on Netflix Sept. 25, after debuting in the U.K. as The Great British Bake-Off on Sept. 22.
