Ina Garten says she and Food Network are discussing what follows the next season of “Be My Guest”; she is more interested in seasonal specials than committing to another full series. Season 9 premieres Oct. 3, while her weekly video podcast debuted Sept. 16.
Food Network says Season 9 starts Oct. 3 at noon ET and streams the following day on HBO Max and discovery+. Guests include Christina Tosi, Jeffrey Garten, Yotam Ottolenghi and Dan Barber.
Garten’s weekly video podcast, “Happy Hour With Ina Garten,” pairs cocktails or mocktails with long conversations. Its Sept. 16 debut featured Kate McKinnon, and filmmaker Sofia Coppola is among the first-season guests. Garten’s 14th cookbook, “Simply Ina,” is due Oct. 20 with 85 recipes focused on easier cooking, including make-ahead dishes and store-bought shortcuts.
