For Sept. 14–20, Drawn Together stayed No. 1 on Prime Video’s global film chart for a second week. Mexican series El Juicio topped the non-English series list and ranked No. 4 overall. Spanish-language titles filled eight places on the non-English film chart.
The eight-episode series premiered Sept. 11 and stars Eugenio Derbez and Pedro Alonso. Drawing on true stories, its plot begins with a powerful businessman’s son accused of sexually abusing a female classmate; the teenagers’ parents then clash over justice, power and privilege.
Drawn Together adapts the first book in Mercedes Ron’s Enfrentados duology and stars Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García. Three films in Ron’s Culpables trilogy and Tell Me Softly, the first installment of her Dímelo trilogy, also appeared on the non-English film chart.
