Although Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone keep daughters Vivian and Georgette largely out of the spotlight, Vivian played young Michelle in 2016’s The Boss, and Georgette joined her parents at The Little Mermaid premiere.
McCarthy and Falcone initially refused to let Vivian act professionally, telling her that school was her job. After she persisted, they agreed to let her play young Michelle in The Boss; she appears once in the film.
McCarthy has said both daughters enjoy makeup and changing their hair as a form of self-expression, and she lets them experiment. She has also praised their empathy and said she learns from the way they navigate a more complicated world.
