On the Sept. 25 episode of “Real Time,” Bill Maher mocked Donald Trump for showing Chinese President Xi Jinping his renovation projects, including a helipad and ballroom. Maher joked that Trump was an “arch-criminal,” a pun on Trump’s Triumphal Arch.
Maher said China builds “entire cities in a week” and compared Trump showing Xi the new limo drop-off area to showing chef Gordon Ramsay how to reheat pizza.
Maher also mocked Trump and his administration as being focused on decorating, joking, “Redecorating or annihilating.” He riffed that Trump wanted an arch immediately and closed the bit with, “arch, annihilate.”
