The Beatles returned to two U.S. Billboard charts this week: compilation “1” reentered the Billboard 200 at No. 190, while “Abbey Road” returned to Top Album Sales at No. 50. Their runs on those rankings now stand at 556 and 326 weeks, respectively.
The Billboard 200 combines sales and streaming to rank albums and EPs. “1” debuted at No. 1 in December 2000 and spent eight weeks atop the chart; “Abbey Road” reached No. 1 on Top Album Sales once, nearly a decade after its December 2009 debut.
Nine albums reentered the Billboard 200 this week, with “1” ranking sixth among the returning titles. Eleven titles returned to Top Album Sales, representing more than 20% of that chart.
