Madonna Inn will sell its signature Pink Cloud frozen cocktail for $9.25 on Sept. 25, marking California’s officially designated Dolly Parton Day. The hotel says the drink was one of Parton’s favorites during her decades of visits.
California designated Sept. 25 as Dolly Parton Day after a fan campaign; the date refers to “9 to 5,” the song Parton wrote for her first starring film role. The Pink Cloud blends strawberry purée, half-and-half, crème de cacao and strawberry vodka; the inn posted its recipe online in 2020.
