Kentucky football received Nike Air Zoom Hyperslides, recovery shoes with a magnetic pod for heat and vibration. Strength coach Brandon Roberts said Will Stein arranged them through a Nike relationship dating to his time at Oregon.
The pod offers three levels each for heat and vibration, adjustable by tapping it or using an app. The slides can also be worn without the pod; Nike says they are designed to help reduce tension and promote relaxation.
The slides cost $249 and are scheduled to go on sale September 29 on Nike.com, Hyperice.com and at select retail locations.
