Oregon’s report before Saturday’s Big Ten opener at USC matched Wednesday’s: Jeremiah McClellan, Simeon Price, Brayden Platt and Trent Ferguson are out; Jalen Lott is doubtful; Jamari Johnson and Kendre Harrison are questionable; Carl Williams IV is probable.
Johnson has missed the last two games, and freshman tight end Harrison and redshirt freshman Andrew Olesh have taken more snaps. Freshman receiver Messiah Hampton has earned more targets as Lott and McClellan have been unavailable.
USC’s only report change was running back Deshonne Redeaux moving from questionable to probable. Defensive tackle Jahkeem Stewart and nickel Alex Graham were questionable on the first two reports, while receiver Trent Mosley was doubtful on both. Coach Lincoln Riley said the team was “hopefully not too far away” from getting Stewart back and hinted Mosley would miss more games.
