Joe Flacco said he has no reason to believe the New York Giants will trade for him after Jaxson Dart suffered a knee injury that will keep him out for the rest of the 2026 regular season. The Giants have now made Jameis Winston their starter.
Flacco told Cincinnati Enquirer reporter Kelsey Conway he was amused by the speculation and had not given it much thought. He said he was focused on Cincinnati and getting ready for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Giants coach John Harbaugh, who said New York is keeping its options open, coached Flacco for 11 seasons in Baltimore.
CBS Sports linked the Giants to Tyler Huntley, Justin Fields, Mitchell Trubisky and Anthony Richardson; Mac Jones and J.J. McCarthy were also mentioned as possibilities.
