Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert said Wednesday he believes the team has involved wide receiver Quentin Johnston, but added it can do more to get him the ball and help him make plays. Johnston has caught 3 of 10 targets through two games as Los Angeles' offense struggles.
Fox Sports reports Johnston has 13 career drops, including a career-high seven in 2024, when he also had a career-high 55 receptions. Los Angeles is averaging 14 points per game, 29th in the league, and ranks 22nd in total yards at 289; Herbert's 59.3% completion rate and 28.7 QBR rank 31st.
