Jodar and Alcaraz help Europe take 3-1 Laver Cup lead

Team Europe finished the opening day of the 2026 Laver Cup in London ahead of Team World, 3-1. Rafael Jodar beat Alexander Bublik 6-2, 6-4 on his debut, then Carlos Alcaraz and Jakub Mensik won the doubles 6-4, 6-4 over Bublik and Taylor Fritz.
