Golden State's Janelle Salaun won the AP WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year award; Indiana Fever's Sophie Cunningham missed out. Salaun averaged 12.7 points and four rebounds, setting WNBA records with 509 bench points, 93 three-pointers and 27 double-digit scoring games.
Cunningham, whom the Fever put forward for the award, averaged 7.9 points per game, shooting 46% from the field and 41.9% from three-point range.
The Valkyries finished second with a 32-12 record, while Indiana placed sixth at 28-16. The teams could meet in the playoff semifinals if both win their opening-round series.
