Jacksonville beat New England 35-6 Sunday after Drake Maye committed three turnovers, including two interceptions. The Jaguars turned them into 14 points; by the third quarter, Maye's season total stood at seven turnovers against one touchdown, the NFL's highest.
Maye's first giveaway came when the ball slipped from his hand on a pass attempt near the Jacksonville 35; replay confirmed it came loose before his arm moved forward. DaVon Hamilton recovered, and the Jaguars scored a touchdown on the ensuing drive. Travis Hunter intercepted Maye in the end zone late in the first half for his first career pick. Jarrian Jones made the other interception in the third quarter and returned it 32 yards to New England's 5, setting up a Jaguars touchdown.
The three turnovers were Maye's fifth, sixth and seventh of the season, and his 15th since the start of last season's playoffs over six-plus games. He had 11 turnovers in 17 games during the 2025 regular season.
