San Jose Sharks rookie Ivar Stenberg, the No. 2 pick in the 2026 NHL draft, has five points—including three goals—and a plus-3 rating through two preseason games. He scored a hat trick in Thursday’s 10-0 win over Anaheim.
Before joining San Jose, Stenberg recorded 33 points, including 11 goals, in 43 regular-season games for Sweden’s Frolunda HC. He added four assists in six playoff games.
Michael Misa had four points, including a goal, and Igor Chernyshov scored twice and finished with three points in the 10-0 win. San Jose has one preseason game left, against Vegas on Saturday, before opening its regular season at home against Florida on Oct. 1.
